Getting Started
Surtax Oversight Pro provides two main views for managing government contracts and surtax-funded capital projects:
- Surtax Oversight — Focus on surtax-funded capital projects, schools, and committee concerns
- Contract Management — Full contract lifecycle, vendor performance, and executive analytics
Toggle between views using the switch at the top of the sidebar.
Personas
Committee Member
High-level oversight view with simplified navigation. See portfolio health, open concerns, and meeting preparation tools.
District Staff
Full access to analytics, detailed contract data, vendor management, risk monitoring, and compliance tools.
Switch personas using the dropdown in the top-right header bar.
Key Features
Health Scoring
Each project gets a 0-100 health score based on budget utilization, schedule adherence, and risk factors.
Green (70+) = On Track, Yellow (50-69) = Caution, Red (<50) = Critical
EVM Forecasting
Earned Value Management predicts final cost at completion using CPI (Cost Performance Index) and SPI (Schedule Performance Index).
Found in Executive Analytics under Contract Management view.
Meeting Preparation
Auto-generates agenda with estimated timing, pulls critical contracts, open concerns, and pending approvals.
Use "Present Full Screen" for projector/meeting display.
Data Export
Export contracts, vendors, and change orders to CSV for offline analysis or reporting.
Export buttons are on the contracts list, vendor dashboard, and change orders pages.
Compliance Tracking
Monitors insurance verification, bonding, board approvals, and sole-source justifications.
Flags non-compliant contracts by severity level.
AI Assistant
Ask questions about your portfolio in natural language. Powered by Claude API.
Click "Ask AI" in the sidebar or use guided prompts for common queries.
